That’s for sure. Like a 180 degree turn on a series of key issues, from Russia and Europe to global challenges and the role of International Organizations in dealing with them. The relatively subdued take on the PRC was equally notable but less noted by the commentariat thus far. I’m tempted to find fault in everything I see emanating from this nefarious, self-dealing, gang-that-can’t-shoot-straight administration but find myself more circumspect about the PRC question. Keep up the good work.

The NSS seems like a brand new political philosophy for the United States that seems entirely detached from recent historical experience.
